Tips On Data Security

With the recent data breach of Capital One, we would like to remind everyone of the significance of data security. Here are some ways to secure your non-public personal information online.

1) Know what you're downloading, websites you are entering, and emails you receive.
2) Use strong passwords and two-factor authentication, store them in an encryption device.
3) Routinely check your credit report for any unauthorized activity.
4) Install anti-virus software and firewalls to your devices.
5) Avoid sharing personal information.

In the event you discover fraudulent activity on your account, IMMEDIATELY contact your creditors and financial institutions, freeze your account, and report with your local police and the FTC. Time is key here.

We are committed to protecting our client confidentiality.
